Webmify is a digital builder community and education platform operated by Webmify Studio (referred to in this document as "Webmify", "we", "us" or "our"). Our primary domain is webmify.site.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data that you provide directly to us. This includes:

• Full name
• Email address
• WhatsApp phone number
• Areas of interest you select when joining
• Communications you send to us

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit our websites, including your IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited. This data is used only for security and analytics purposes.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as biometric data, financial account details, health information or government identification numbers.

3. Why We Collect Your Data (Legal Basis)

Under the NDPA 2023, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Consent: When you fill out a form on our website to join Webmify, register for a webinar or download a resource, you are giving us explicit consent to contact you with relevant information about Webmify programs and updates.
• Legitimate interests: We use limited analytics to understand how people use our website and improve the experience. This does not override your privacy rights.
• Contract performance: If you purchase a program or service from us, we process your data to deliver that service.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes only:

• To send you confirmation emails after registration
• To send you reminders and updates about Webmify programs and webinars you have registered for
• To deliver paid programs or services you have purchased
• To respond to your questions or enquiries
• To improve our website and services using anonymised analytics
• To send you occasional updates about new programs, resources or community announcements (you may opt out at any time)

We will never sell your personal data to any third party. We will never use your data for purposes not described in this policy without obtaining your prior consent.

5. How We Share Your Data

We share your data with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers who help us operate Webmify. These include:

• Resend — used to send transactional emails (registration confirmations and reminders)
• Formspree — used to process form submissions and forward them to our email
• Vercel — used to host our websites

Each of these providers processes your data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or any other third parties.

We may disclose your data if required to do so by Nigerian law or a valid order from a Nigerian court or regulatory authority.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your personal data for as long as you remain an active member of the Webmify community or as required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Specifically:

• Webinar registration data is kept for up to 12 months after the webinar date
• Community membership data is kept until you request deletion
• Payment and transaction records are kept for 7 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations

After these periods, your data is permanently deleted from our systems.

7. Your Rights Under the NDPA 2023

The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
• Right to correction: You may ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.
• Right to deletion: You may ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
• Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw your consent to receive communications from us at any time by emailing us or clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
• Right to object: You may object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests as our legal basis.
• Right to data portability: You may request a copy of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include:

• All websites served over HTTPS (encrypted connection)
• Form submissions processed through reputable third-party services with their own security standards
• Access to personal data restricted to authorised personnel only
• No storage of payment card details or bank account numbers on our systems

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by the NDPA 2023.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Our websites use only essential technical cookies necessary for the website to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (including Resend, Formspree and Vercel) are based outside Nigeria and may process your data in other countries. We only use providers that implement adequate data protection safeguards. By using our services, you consent to this processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
